Game of Thrones Watch Ulysse Nardin

Swiss manufacturer Ulysse Nardin creates the Game of Thrones Watch after teaming up with HBO licensing. A signature timepiece, drawing it’s inspiration from the Night’s Watch, a military order dressed entirely in black, and dedicated to holding The Wall, an ice fortress that protects the Seven Kingdoms from the dangers of the North.

The HBO series was created to follow the lives of several powerful families as they fight and struggle for the Iron Throne and control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. A battle for power and strategy, the design of this timepiece captures that essence in every way.

The Fine Writing Instruments auction that is held in San Francisco, hosted by Bonhams, is going to feature an array of impressive pens. This auction is a collector’s dream, and the main item drawing attention is the Montegrappa 2010 Bruce Lee fountain pen to go on sale at Bonhams.

The pen is part of the brands Icons series. Honoring a legend, the pens were crafted in a limited edition quantity of 88. The 18-carat yellow gold pens were exquisitely designed and feature red celluloid with black veining, referred to as cinnamon, ruby eyes, a solid 18-carat yellow gold dragon overlay, and a Yin-Yang cap-top emblem, that represents balance.

MB&F HM3 MegaWind Watch Hands-On

The newest member of an already unique brand of watches, the MB&F HM3 MegaWind Watch Hands-On is a truly unique timepiece without being limited edition or something created for a special event. The brand has developed this timepiece as the new and improved version, really just enhancing an already remarkable watch.

The latest version of the timepiece was designed to be easier to read, be more attractive, and to overall be a better representative of the collection than the predecessor. The timepiece features a large 22k gold and titanium winding rotor that presents very readable time indication cones that rise up from the asymmetric case, seeming like a glacier emerging from the ground. These cones display hours and minutes while rotating within the dual gold and sapphire crystal frustums. The visibility of the numbers is crystal clear, both from the large numbers appearing on the sides of the cones as well as the indications that are duplicated on the flat caps.

$26.7 million diamond bought by Harry Winston

While the name is instantly recognized for flawless perfection in exquisite fine jewelry crafting, the most recent addition to this brand was purchased not manufactured. The auction house, Christie’s announced the purchase of a $26.7 million diamond bought by Harry Winston.

The flawless 101.73 carat pear shaped diamond was purchased in Geneva and the brand is the first ever to purchase the diamond. Recently acquired by the Swatch group, the brand also had the explicit privilege of naming the flawless purchase.

Graham Chronofighter Sahara Watch

For anyone who is not familiar with the brand, Graham is a Swiss watch brand, with British roots. George Graham, a London clockmaker, is the father of modern watch making, recognized as the founder of the chronograph, because he invented the start and stop device of the chronograph. He is also connected with many other aspects of watch making, and he built the master clock for Greenwich Royal Observatory.

The brand itself was revived in 1995 and is held privately today by a Swiss watch company. The brand is home in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. So with a combination of British history and a brilliance of Swiss watch making, the brand has introduced the Chronofighter Sahara Watch, which has shown performance far and above technological parameters.

Brand new Corum Ti-Bridge Automatic Dual Winder

Designing and developing a brand new Corum Ti-Bridge Automatic Dual Winder, the brand has surpassed another level in watch making manufacturing, and introduced the first automatic watch within the collection. Unveiling the latest addition to the Bridges collection, the brand has maintained alignment with their linear architecture, using the same escapement, gear train, and barrel while crafting the piece with the brand tonneau- shaped case.

The watch caliber is held in position by four titanium cross-bars, and is placed in a case that measures 42mm x 52mm, and one of the slimmest in the collection. The movement is truly a work of art, and is an extremely intricate piece of work.

Christophe Claret X-TREM-1 Pinball Piece Unique For Only Watch 2013

Marking the fifth charity auction, Christophe Claret introduces the X-TREM-1 Pinball Piece unique for Only Watch 2013. Inspired by the brands love of gaming, as apparent from other selections, the design was crafted to reflect a precious children’s activity.

The very distinct interpretation of the timepiece includes the tiny metal balls that indicate hours and minutes seen through the grilled sapphire tubes. The Le Locle watchmaker crafted the appearance so that the inner movement resembles the inside a true pinball machine. Brilliantly laid out with bumpers, slingshots and balls, they are all evoked inside the very visible mechanism.

2013 Chanel Premiere Flying Tourbillon

Chanel is known around the globe for high-fashion, specializing in haute couture, and luxury accessories. Founded in 1909 by Coco, the brand is headquartered in Paris, France. In 2012 at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the brand was honored with their Premiere Flying Tourbillon being voted the best ladies watch of the year.
