A Beautiful Body

We have seen some truly amazing timepieces from Carl F. Bucherer through the years.  While the brand has never been high on the collector’s radar, fans still appreciate the exquisite workmanship.  The three new Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral Variants offered by the brand are case options, each with the same internal brilliance that was introduced last year.  Each of the cases are featured in a diameter of 43.1mm x 11.57mm, with a beautiful polished bezel and highly brushed lugs.  Developed in white and yellow gold, as well as rose gold and crafted with matching dials.  The only timepiece that is slightly different is the rose gold which was designed with matching dauphine style hands and markers.  Beauty might be skin deep, but these are created to be beautiful inside and out.

Inner Beauty

The Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral is built with the CFB T3000 calibre inside.  The automatically wound movement is qualified as a COSC chronometer and is equipped with a 65 hour power reserve.  The timepiece was developed with a combination of both a peripheral winding rotor and the peripheral tourbillon.  The inner beauty that Carl F. Bucherer crafted also features a winding rotor that carefully moves around the outer edge of the movement, keeping the timepiece thin but also providing a clear view of the caseback finishing.  The real detail of the floating tourbillon is the hidden gems, there are no bridges or other signs that show how the movement is connected, but it is a brilliant piece of work.

The End Is Only the Beginning

The brand has always focused on craftsmanship and timeless design, featuring luxury coupled with technical expertise.  With each of the variants Carl F. Bucher has delivered each one provides a simple elegance that is to be appreciated.  The most classic of the trio is the yellow gold, designed with a champagne silver base dial that will travel forward in timeless fashion.  The white gold has a slightly more modern flair and the added rose gold accents with the slate gray base are edgy and sporty.  Finishing off the trio is the rose gold version, soft and yet still maintaining a masculine feel, the simplicity is what gives the timepiece a refined and elegant finish.  Each of the timepieces is complete with a Louisiana alligator leather strap, an 18k gold pin buckle and the yellow and rose gold are offered with a rich brown, while the white gold offers the semi-gloss black leather.  The luxury straps might seem simple to some, but that design is what makes the tourbillon sparkle.  From start to finish these exceptional watches are only a new beginning for a brand that has always been around.
