Unveiling the latest collection, My Guardian Angel, the brand has confirmed their silversmiths artistic talents, and their amazing design abilities.
The collection is comprised of some brilliant pieces, including cufflinks and wristwatches. In coordination with the other pieces, the collection features an angel armed with a sword and shield, the watches have a motif of wings and sun rays. The intricately designed mainstay of the collection has been awarded the Sterling Silver design category winner at Couture Design Awards in Las Vegas. This honor holds special meaning to the brand, it shows special recognition of their mastery of manufacturing, but also artistic skills, specifically jewelry, gem setting, enameling, painting, and engraving.
The Fine Writing Instruments auction that is held in San Francisco, hosted by Bonhams, is going to feature an array of impressive pens. This auction is a collector’s dream, and the main item drawing attention is the Montegrappa 2010 Bruce Lee fountain pen to go on sale at Bonhams.
The pen is part of the brands Icons series. Honoring a legend, the pens were crafted in a limited edition quantity of 88. The 18-carat yellow gold pens were exquisitely designed and feature red celluloid with black veining, referred to as cinnamon, ruby eyes, a solid 18-carat yellow gold dragon overlay, and a Yin-Yang cap-top emblem, that represents balance.
Montegrappa is celebrating the life of Elvis Presley through their Icons series. The brand has developed four pen models to pay tribute to several important phases in his career, from 1956 to 1977. Each piece is an elegant addition, and a remarkable masterpiece.
Marking the legendary period with significant colors, each pen possesses a resin body in a specific color representative of that era. The fountain pens are cartridge/converter fill and the 18 kt gold nibs are engraved with the full-height profile of Elvis at the microphone. Accompanying each pen is a CD of Elvis’s Greatest Hits.
