Officine never created the U-Boat and was not taken from blue-print to prototype until his cousin Italo Fontana launched the U-Boat brand. Ever since, the brand has made itself a name for being a professional luxury watch sold in some of the most discriminating retailers. U-Boat watches have also been seen on the wrists of celebrities such as David Beckham.
