Hublot has been the first luxury brand to sign up major sports teams, soccer in 2007, NBA teams in 2011 and now the NFL with Dallas Cowboys Football Team Sponsorship. Certainly the famed team has expanded sponsorships to more than normal football products with this signing, but not out of the ordinary for the timepiece manufacturer. The themed timepieces, a collection of three limited-edition team branded watches that sport the blue and silver team colors.
The timepieces from the brand will be sold at the brand boutique in Dallas and of course in the teams owner's lounge at AT&T Stadium in a pop-up shop. In addition to the trio of watches, the brand will put clocks on the stadium walls, on the jumbotrons and they will manage the pre-game countdowns. Quite a partnership for the famed duos, matching “America's Team” with the global timepiece favorite.
Certainly Hublot hopes to bring attention to the brand through the amazing partnerships with these sports teams, but they also hope that their attention to quality and reliability play a major part in decisions to wear the watches. Many other timepiece brands have taken to sponsoring sporting events in efforts to reach a new range of consumers. Omega for example sponsored the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
The brand has embraced these sports alignments and working with the Dallas Cowboys will open more doors for the extraordinary watch maker. The three timepieces that are being crafted start with the Classic Fusion men's piece, a lovely ladies version, and a larger, heavier piece known as King Power. All feature the trademark colors and other details that are dedicated to the team. Watches will be limited to fifty pieces and will feature the famous star logo at the 5 o'clock position, commemorating the team's five Superbowl wins.
Hublot is creating the Classic Fusion in titanium with 45 mm sizing, and the King Power in a 48 mm size crafted in a micro-blasted ceramic case. Each of the timepieces feature see-through casebacks to show off the automatic chronograph movements. The exquisite ladies Classic has been created with a ceramic case, 42 mm sizing and a diamond-set bezel. Selling exclusively in the Dallas market, and packaged in an elegant box inspired by the luxurious AT&T Stadium, they include a signed mimi helmet which will have high appeal for the diehard fans.
