IWC Honors Muhammad Ali with Limited-Edition Watch - Legendary Boxer is Honored by Hollywood

The special event to honor famous prize fighter Ali took place on Saturday, March 24th. The watch was presented to Muhammad Ali at an annual event in Phoenix, Arizona, the Celebrity Fight Night Gala, which was attended by many famous Hollywood celebrities including actor Tom Hanks. The annual gala has been supported by Ali for many years, and was originally conceived to raise funds for his charity, the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. It was the 18th year that many of Ali's Hollywood friends were present to support the well-known charity. Along with the IWC Muhammad Ali Limited-Edition Watch, an auction was held to raise funds for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. The IWC's Limited Edition Muhammad Ali created in white gold raised $60,000 for the charity. The special, limited edition watch features unusual hands and appliques created in red shades. Red is also used on the inside of the watch band, which is created of black alligator leather. Red is used to signify the color Ali used for his boxing gloves. An engraving on the caseback of the watch says "Edition Muhammad Ali, ONE OUT OF ONE."
