The galvanic gray dial has been rimmed by a clever railway-track minute scale and encircled with a satin-brushed 24 hour ring, and divided into two sectors, keeping with the color scheme, light-gray for daytime hours and black for nighttime hours. The timepiece features two crowns, one sitting at 2 o’clock allowing adjustment for date and local time, the second at 4 o’clock controlling the second-time zone and indicated by a baton-style arrow tipped hand on the 24 hour scale.
The metallic black Dauphine hour and minute hands, a hallmark feature of the L.U.C watches, are of course coated with Super-LumiNova and showcases the date sitting in the window at 6 o’clock. The heart of this magnificent timepiece is the in house Caliber L.U.C 01.10-L that sits behind the sapphire exhibition caseback, equipped with the integrated GMT function and features automatic winding, 31 jewels and 28,200 vph frequency, as well as a 60 hour power reserve. The monochrome timepiece is not at all dull, it has shading and texture that defines it and vertical brushing in anthracite gray creating a finish that just compliments the look.
