Layaway Policy
1) What Layaway Means Layaway allows you to reserve a specific watch and pay over time. The watch will not be shipped and ownership will not transfer to you unless and until the Layaway Total is paid in full and confirmed/cleared. We do not charge interest or financing fees for Layaway.
2) Availability Layaway is offered to U.S. customers where permitted by law and is not available to residents of: Rhode Island, Ohio, Washington, DC, and U.S. Territories. We may limit Layaway for certain watches or orders (inventory, compliance, and risk review).
3) Layaway Total (Price + Tax + Shipping/Insurance, if applicable) The “Layaway Total” means the watch price + applicable sales tax (and any required local surtax based on the shipping address) + shipping/insurance charges (if applicable). Tax (standard). Sales tax is included in the Layaway Total and is split into four equal parts, included in each installment. Tax compliance. We may require sales tax (and any required surtax) to be collected earlier or in a different manner where required by law or for tax compliance. Fixed shipping address for tax. Tax is calculated based on the shipping address confirmed on the invoice/Layaway Agreement. The shipping address is fixed and cannot be changed.
4) Term: 90 Days / Four Equal Payments The Layaway term is 90 calendar days from the date the Layaway Agreement is signed (the “Layaway Period”). The Layaway Total is paid in four (4) equal installments. The Layaway Agreement will state the amount and due date for each installment. Payment receipt/clearance. A payment is considered “received” when it is successfully processed and cleared/confirmed (including any holds, reversals, or chargebacks).
5) Payment Methods / Autopay We accept: Credit/Debit Card, ACH, Wire Transfer, PayPal, and Zelle (subject to verification). If your selected method supports autopay (e.g., card/PayPal), you authorize scheduled charges. If your method requires manual initiation (e.g., wire/Zelle, and in some cases ACH), you agree to initiate each payment so that it is received and cleared by the due date. Your bank/card issuer/payment provider may charge fees under your separate agreement with them; we do not control or reimburse those fees.
6) Layaway Process (Invoice → Confirmation → Agreement → Payment) Layaway follows this order: You receive an invoice and confirm the total amount, the watch, its characteristics/description, and the shipping address. You receive the Layaway Agreement by email showing installment amounts and due dates, cancellation/refund terms, and the watch description. You sign/accept the Agreement electronically. You pay installment #1 only after signing.
7) Shipping After Full Payment After full payment is received and confirmed/cleared, we ship the watch within 3 business days. We may require insured shipping and signature confirmation. You are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable address. The shipping address confirmed on the invoice/Layaway Agreement is final and may not be changed. Undeliverable / refused shipments. If a shipment is returned as undeliverable or refused, we may: (a) reship at your cost after address confirmation, or (b) treat the order as canceled and apply Section 9 (as applicable), subject to any carrier/insurance costs actually incurred.
8) If We Cannot Ship After Full Payment (Our Reason) If we cannot ship a fully paid watch for reasons attributable to us (for example, inventory error, fulfillment issue, or a material condition change), we will cancel the order and provide a 100% refund of all amounts paid. We will initiate the refund as promptly as required by law (typically within 7 working days, depending on the payment method) and in any event no later than 30 calendar days from our cancellation notice. Actual posting time depends on your bank/payment provider.
9) Cancellation & Refund / Store Credit (Before Full Payment)
9.1 How to Cancel To request cancellation, emailInfo@worldofluxuryus.comfrom the email used for the order and include your order number.
9.2 24-Hour Full Refund of the First Installment If you cancel within 24 hours from the time installment #1 is successfully received/cleared, we will refund 100% of installment #1, provided that your cancellation request is received by us within that 24-hour period. We will initiate the refund within 24 hours (provider posting time may vary).
9.3 After 24 Hours: Withholding (First Installment Only) OR Store Credit by Mutual Agreement If you cancel after 24 hours, or if the Agreement is terminated due to late payment (Section 10), you may choose: Option A — Refund. We will retain 50% of installment #1 only as a cancellation/termination charge and refund the remaining amounts paid (including any portion of installments #2–#4, if paid). You agree that this retention is liquidated damages, representing a reasonable estimate of our costs and losses (including, without limitation, authentication/verification, documentation, taking the item off-market, insured storage, handling, administrative work, and related costs), and not a penalty. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after cancellation/termination is confirmed (provider posting time may vary). Option B — Store Credit. By mutual written agreement (email confirmation is acceptable), we may convert amounts paid into store credit for a future purchase. Store credit has no expiration date. Store credit is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and may be applied only toward the purchase of eligible merchandise, except where required by law. Store credit is issued to the customer account/email used for purchase.
10) Late Payments, Termination, and Reinstatement After Notice If autopay is enabled and a scheduled charge fails, we may re-attempt the charge up to two (2) times during the next 3 calendar days. If installment #2, #3, or #4 is overdue by more than 3 calendar days, we may terminate the Layaway Agreement by sending a termination notice to your email address on file. After the termination notice is sent, we are not required to hold the watch in reserve and it may be sold or reallocated, in which case reinstatement may be impossible. After a termination notice is sent, we may, at our discretion, reinstate the Layaway if the overdue installment is paid within 24 hours of the notice being sent and if the watch is still available and has not been sold/reallocated. If reinstated, the payment schedule may be adjusted in writing.
11) Official Notices by Email / Electronic Signatures By providing an email address, you agree it is your official address for the Layaway Agreement (and amendments), invoices and confirmations, payment notices, default/termination notices, and all Layaway-related communications. Notices are deemed delivered when sent to the email address you provided (whether or not you open/read them). You are responsible for keeping your email current. You also consent to receive agreements, disclosures, and notices electronically (including by email) and agree that electronic signatures and electronic acceptances are legally binding.
12) Limited Returns After Delivery (Damage / Not Working Only) Layaway does not change our return policy unless stated. Returns are accepted only if the watch is damaged upon delivery or not working. If you discover shipping damage, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and retain the packaging/materials for a potential carrier/insurance claim. To request a return, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery, provide requested evidence (photos/video), and obtain a Return Authorization (RMA) from us before shipping anything back. The watch must be returned with all accessories and packaging, with matching identifiers/serial/reference where applicable. Do not attempt repair, modification, or opening of the watch without our written authorization; unauthorized alterations may void eligibility for return. After inspection, we will, at our discretion, repair the watch, replace it with a comparable item (if available), or refund the purchase (including applicable tax) within 7–10 business days after the return is received and verified (provider posting time may vary).
13) Condition, Identification, and Holding of the Watch The reserved watch remains in our possession until paid in full. We may document conditions and identifiers (photos/video, serial/reference, accessories list) at reservation and prior to shipment. If the watch becomes unavailable or its condition materially changes before shipment, we will cancel Layaway and provide a 100% refund (see Section 8).
14) Severability If any provision of this Policy is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15) Policy Updates We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time you sign the Layaway Agreement governs your Layaway order.
