Breathtaking Design
The high performance sports car manufacturer will not be disappointed in the limited edition high complication masterpiece Jacob & Co watch crafted for this relationship. The Epic X Chrono will be limited to 110 pieces to mark the years since the founding of the automotive powerhouse in 1909. The very definitive technical element of this design is the JCAA05 skeletonized automatic chronograph movement. The exquisite timepiece calibre is crafted with a column-wheel that launches the chronograph functions. Designed counters are arranged in a bi-compax format, small running seconds on the left sitting at 9 o’clock and the elapsed minutes counter on the right at 3 o’clock. The French flag red chronograph seconds hand provides the elapsed seconds. While Jacob and co watches are not recognized for their sport watches, they hope that this partnership will provide that platform. It’s All In The Details
As the design of the watch was created, the brand wanted a more aggressive look, something strong and muscular for overall presentation. The co-branding on the dial allows for both Jacob & Co, and Bugatti to share the limelight. The case is crafted at 47mm wide, and 14mm thick, with a sapphire crystal, and water resistant up to 200 meters. For this limited edition watch the case is a black forged carbon, very lightweight, and a dark-colored DLC-coated titanium. The ‘X’ style dial is red, white and blue, which represent the Bugatti colors and of course the French Flag. The Jacob & Co.
