Hublot Six New Yellow Gold Watches

Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold, Or Is It?

Through the years metals for horological design have changed.  Noble metals were used predominantly in the 70’s and 80’s and mainly yellow gold was the one main golden color.  As watches evolved there were introductions of two-tone and even three-tone color, and in the late 90’s rose gold came on the scene.  Today we are fortunate to have so many choices, and yellow gold is something that like many fashions is making a come back.  Hublot is one brand that is setting a trend with some beautiful yellow gold watches and leading the industry with introduction of six new dazzling timepieces.  The new 18-karat yellow gold watches are not all from new collections, the brand is paying tribute to Classic Fusion, Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang collections.

Meeting the Magnificent

Each of the time pieces the brand is introducing has their own merits, and certainly there is something for everyone.  The main or most eye catching of these watches is the Classic Fusion Chronograph, a 42mm yellow gold case and somewhat of a tribute to the history of the brand.  The watch is presented with a simple bi-complex dial crafted in matte black with simple yellow gold accents, indices and hands.  Water resistant to 50m, the case is done in all yellow gold except for the black composite resin lower bezel, and six titanium H-shaped screws on the bezel, and finished with a titanium buckle clasp.  The heart of the beast is the automatic MHUB1153, with 28,800 vph and 42 hour power reserve.

Creative and Clever

There are a total of six Hublot new yellow gold watches, and four of these are Big Bang pieces.  Three are part of the brand Big Bang Integral collection all created with a case and bracelet that are made from a single block of solid gold.  Three variations of these in brushed gold, and two gem studded timepieces, a pave done with over 5.4 carats of diamonds and the other a full Haute Joaillerie featuring 600 diamonds over 17 carats total weight.  Both of these watches are breathtaking and also in the larger 42mm case size.  The Big Bang Unico collection also joined the grouping and features a black texture rubber strap.  Each of these is powered by the MHUB1280 UNICO 2 and has 72 hour power reserve.  Tradition is featured in all the new designs and history helped to also shape the watches, Hublot knows where they have originated from and will always drive the future with that in mind.
