1900. At the beginning of the century, opened a watch shop on "Piazza» - Piazza San Giovanni in Florence. During this period, made the first deliveries of precision optical and mechanical instruments to the Ministry of Defense.

1915-1918. Royal Italian Navy uses the precision instruments made by the Panerai, during the First World War. Children 1934 Guido Panerai, Giuseppe and Maria, continue to develop the business of their father. In 1936 the company was renamed in Officine Panerai, is the Radiomir watch - a prototype watch for divers, created solely for the secret torpedo group. In the mid-1990s Panerai fulfilled orders received by Sylvester Stallone. The actor was playing a major role in the action movie "Daylight", shot partly carried out in Italy, Stallone became acquainted with the brand.
