The Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon 30° Vision features an approximately 43.5 mm case crafted from 18K white gold, combining classical haute-horlogerie proportions with the highly architectural design language of Greubel Forsey. Its dark dial is accented by applied Roman numerals and baton markers, blued screws, sculpted hands, and an open section at 6 o’clock that reveals the intricate double-tourbillon mechanism.
The dial displays central hours and minutes, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a sector-style power-reserve indicator at 3 o’clock. The patented Double Tourbillon 30° construction places a one-minute inner tourbillon inclined at 30 degrees inside an outer cage that completes one rotation every four minutes. This continually changes the position of the regulating organ to help average gravitational effects across different wearing positions.
The watch is powered by the manually wound Greubel Forsey Caliber GF02, a 39-jewel mechanical movement operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour. Two series-coupled mainspring barrels provide an approximate 72-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the movement showcases extensive hand finishing, including polished bevels, gold chatons, blued screws, and the distinctive warm-toned treatment of the bridges and mainplate.
A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire caseback provides a clear view of the movement and double-tourbillon architecture.
